Fun atmosphere - very casual. Staff was super nice. Love this type of restaurant (similar to Moes) build your own. I got the nachos and they were tasty, fresh and very reasonably priced. Fast and clean atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Nice staff and clean restaurant, but the food left a bit to be desired. Chicken burritos didn't taste as good as they do at Tijuana Flats or Chipotle and they seemed a little stingy with their servings sizes (chicken, black beans, chips, etc). Not a bad place, they prob just need a little more time to work out some kinks.

Everything we tried was delicious. Lots of options to add to your order. The queso was crucial. Definitely a great beach burrito spot. The staff was also very kind and accommodating to the four wild and tired kids I had along with me. Thanks Epic!

Last spring break, my family and I were driving into Cocoa Beach to hit the Ron Jon Surf Shop. Needed a bite to eat and stopped in having never heard of the place. So glad I did. Best burrito I ever had. Got a Corona to go with it. Super friendly staff. Can't miss. Highly recommended.

More like epic fail I could get a burrito at any taqueria in L.A. and even the San Francisco bay area for $6 and for $9 I could have a 5 star burrito in California, instead I get a cold, flavorless monstrosity that masquerades as a burrito. The steak was good but that's the only part of the burrito that was and they skimped compared to places I've eaten in California. Overpriced + flavorless does not = epic

Absolutely love this place!! The food is fresh and very flavorful. I ordered the seasoned beef bowl and my husband got a seasoned beef burrito. They both came with salsa and chips which was nice to not have to pay for. They also have a really cool sauce bar with different hot sauces. It is sort of a set up like Chipotle but I personally think better. The decorations and ambiance are very laid back and clean. Everyone working was very friendly and happy which made the environment very inviting. I will definitely be going back!!

Good food. However they get very frazzled and they don't listen so you have to keep repeating yourself. They are also very stingy on the toppings so you have too keep telling them to put more on. Got home and they jipped me on the salsa. Pricy for the service you don't get. Food is ok. Not great. Still on the hunt for a good burrito place

Excellent Steak Burrito, lots of options for toppings. Nachos looked very good as well

Epic Burrito was an epic mess! It's like a crappier version of Chipotle. I ordered a small steak burrito. This guy couldn't roll a burrito if his life depended on it. And to top it off, he stuck the poorly rolled burrito (in foil) into a grill press (like for panini) which resulted in the foil sticking directly to the tortilla. When I tried to unroll the foil to eat this "epic" burrito, the whole thing ripped apart and stuck to the foil. Epic fail. I would give it 1 star except the pico and salsa were good and it's better than the Taco Bell across the street...

Found this place on yelp with some pretty good reviews. It was close by so we stopped. Super friendly staff, clean place full of windows. They will explain the menu to you but its pretty easy if you're familiar with Q doba. Basically you decide if you want tacos, a burrito, or nachos. Then you pick a size like regular or large. Meat is next...chicken, steak, taco meat, or fish. Then just pick out you're toppings. They have a pretty good selection of drinks also, even beer! We all went for nachos. Being a HUGE fan of fish tacos, I thought I'd throw them a curve and went for some FISH NACHOS. They were ready for me and piled on the grilled flounder. They said they get orders for fish nachos every once in a while so it wasn't new to them. We finished dinner with fresh churros and a key lime pie cup....yum. Figure around $10 per person just to be safe. T-shirts and stickers with their logo are extra of course. For some place we just picked, I'm definitely going back. Well worth a another visit.

I'm in Cocoa Beach on Vacation && went to the Epic Burrito simply because it was in front of our hotel. The girls were super friendly! They could tell we've never been in there && showed us the menu and suggestions We got 2 large burritos one chicken & One taco beef. Both came with a very small side of chips & salsa but the burrito was pretty big the whole meal was very filling. The place was clean and one block away from the beach. I saw a family come in with their bathing suits, so the ambiance is very casual. The guacamole is free lol unlike Chipotle or QDOBA. So if you're an avocado lover make sure you get a scoop ;)

Best burritos in the world. Fast service, minimal atmosphere (relaxing in the midst of all the crazy tourists in Cocoa Beach), and absolutely delicious food. If I lived closer, I'd be here every week. The chalk wall is fun for kids (and adults). I always get the small burrito and it's a perfect size, but if you're extra hungry, spring for the regular size.

Large portions but the steak was not well seasoned. Not as good as Chipotle. I doubt I would return.

Even better than Chipotle! Fresh, great tasting food. However service was a bit slow when making a burrito or bowl. But if you order fish it is cooked fresh and on the spot! And who doesn't love free chips and salsa am I right?

Came here after the beach for lunch because of the great Yelp reviews. I was instantly surprised that we were standing in a cafeteria like atmosphere that was a Moe's-like style. My son got a huge burrito that he made "Epic" that means extra big I guess. My other son got a small burrito which was bland but pretty big and I got the nachos which I smothered with the Queso (yum!) I heard about in past reviews. Our bill came to $28! Ouch! Expensive lunch! The food was pretty tasty but all in all it was just an ok experience for the price.

Epic Burrito is my favorite place to eat when I'm in Cocoa Beach! Every time I have been there the food has always been stellar and the staff is super friendly. It's also very clean which is a big deal in my book. The chicken burrito is my fav! I highly recommend Epic Burrito to all my traveling friends. You won't be disappointed. :)

Disappointing!!!!! Pretty expensive for the lack of flavor. The grill was too hot- tortilla on the quesadilla was burnt and my cheese wasn't even melted. Very limited and basic hot sauce bar and toppings. Will not be back.

East coast burritos at their best. You pick the ingredients. It's like Subway but with burritos and tastier fixins. The large are big enough to share with someone else. Try the fish burrito. Get it to go and have a picnic on the beach!

  • Jonathan S.

It was ok. Really the individual ingredients are lacking in flavor. I.E. the chicken is bland. The food is very edible and by no means bad. The hot sauce bar is not very good its very basic hot sauces. it reminds me of moes a lot which I'm not a fan of. Its kind of expensive also for what you are getting.

Very good, like how they grill the burritos after they make them. Queso is yummy. Improvements - they should add pinto beans and Mexican beer to be even better!

They have a 2ft Burrito called the Megalodon, which I was very inclined to order. The ingredients were surprisingly fresh and flavorful, definitely a restaurant I will be frequenting.

Very clean and inviting. Came here on a whim for breakfast- they open at 7:30 am-out from California. They offer burrito bowls and breakfast burritos with many option a of sauces and meats. Kind of the chipotle type setup . The staff seam to be from other states and extremely friendly. All though the food not exactly authentic Mexican they don't claim to be . The food was great! Prices are fair and concept is perfect.this place can accommodate anyone.

We grabbed take out from Epic and were pretty happy with the burritos. Would definitely eat there again!

I came here for lunch for the first time. The place is clean and airy, well lit, a nice establishment. I decided on a large (12") quesadilla with chicken. It was grilled nicely, with my cheese all melty and good. I also decided on a drink. This came out to be just a tad over $11. That's eleven dollars for a grilled tortilla and chicken. That may be a tad too much for me to make this a regular on my weekly and even monthly lunch rotation, but I'll be back for sure. The food quality was good, the servers were great and very friendly. The quesadilla was tasty. I lived in the Los Angeles area for 13yrs, and this place reminded me of Qdoba Mexcican Grill... that's a plus.

Girls working were super nice. I had a large chicken burrito with everything. I ate it with their bottle of salsa in the plastic bottle. It was a smoky chipotle with a good kick. My wife had a bowl which she loved. She's super picky with chicken and inspects every piece. She ate every single piece with no problem. My one year old also lived their quesadilla. I would recommend for sure! Also, their bathrooms were super clean. Both my wife and I were impressed of the cleanliness.

Had the steak and cheese quesadilla, and the kids had the chicken and cheese quesadillias - it was a good lunch stop, and about half the food comes home. Good flavor made fresh when ordered.

We went here today because Tijuana flats was closed for New Year's Day. I have eaten here once before. Everyone working was very nice, but the food is subpar. I ordered a vegetarian burrito. The first time I ate here about 6 months ago they pressed (heated, not just flattened) the burrito which complimented it nicely, but didn't get that this time. I possibly ordered something different last time, but don't think so. Nothing in the burrito had any flavor except the guacamole and the burrito was VERY dry. My husband felt the same about his chicken burrito. Maybe I'm a Chipotle snob, but I will not be giving this place another shot. At Chipotle, my husbands and my burritos PLUS a drink is $15 and I spend $17 here with no drink. Which is disappointing because I own a condo within walking distance.***update. This review just went through. It was originally supposed to be posted on first.

I had the chicken burrito and the name [epic] fits! We were searching for a place to eat that wasn't fried or pizza and we found this little gem. It's a very similar setup to Moes or Chipotle but with a beachy flair. The staff was friendly and well, the burritos speak for themselves!

Had the fish burrito. Seasoned just right and cooked to order but still fast. My wife had the pulled pork and was very pleased with seasoning and flavor. The size of both burritos is of course epic! Stumbled on this place by chance and smiled because local beats chain.

Food was good but didn't blow me away. Went with the burrito bowl. As the girl filled the bowl she was very skimpy with the ingredients. Prices for burrito bowls are more then chipotle but you get about 50% less food. Would have given 4 stars if better portions were given. If you charge more then chipotle and do the exact same thing you need to at least be on par with the people you are copying. Price for bowl over 8 bucks each.

My crew team comes to Cocoa Beach every year to train during spring break. This is by far the best place within walking distance of our hotel, so I usually come here for dinner. This place is like Qdoba but way more tasty and with way more generous of portion sizes. I always get the chicken nachos and the portion is huge. Everything is fresh and the queso is very flavorful and delicious! The staff are nice and will usually give you extra of anything except for meat. My one complaint is that half the time, you get way less meat than you should and an extra scoop costs you $2. It's 50/50 thing though; it just depends on who is making your food. If definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for some high quality Mexican fast food!

I really liked the shrimp taco and the many ingredients that you can add to the burritos. Some have said that they are not fresh here, but I very much disagree. LOVE that they have an outdoor area that I can bring my dog now! :)

A little on the expensive side but good food. They definitely give you a big portion. It's convenient to be so close to the beach and great to get to go for a long drive home. The food seemed fresh as well

My sister lives on Merritt Island and took us here on our visit. The service was friendly. They have a variety of fun hot sauces to pick from once you sit down that you can use. Prices seem high. For 1 each-$5 burrito, quesadilla, soda drink, churro it was $21 and change. The quesadilla was big. It is true about the laughable amount of chips they provide. Salsa with the chips is bland. Went back today for $5 burritos and my son really enjoyed his chicken/bean/cheese burrito- so much so that when we leave town he wants to pick some up for the road. All the food is fresh and I enjoyed adding spinach in my burrito. Fun atmosphere, great seating for groups. I would recommend, but just make sure you bring your pocket books because it can be pricey with the little add ons.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
